development co-operation
We pay full attention to the values and culture of organisations and their people — they determine to a large extent the quality of implementation and the impact and sustainability of a development programme’s results.
Our services cover:
• Programme / project identification and formulation through PCM participatory approaches to ensure ownership by the beneficiaries, the sustainability of results and their enhanced impact.
• Assessment of the quality of programme / project proposals in terms of their relevance to the objectives and goals pursued, their effectiveness, and the potential sustainability and impact of the planned results on the target beneficiaries.
• Programme / project monitoring and evaluation with emphasis on monitoring and the use made from feedback received — to ensure the continuous improvement of results for the beneficiaries.
• Training in programme / project cycle management (PCM) and the Logical Framework Approach (LFA). Training programmes are structured over 3 levels of specialisation; certification is provided.
• Institutional capacity-building - assessment of how an institution works and what it achieves; identification of its strengths and areas for improvement; planning performance improvement projects; monitoring their implementation.
